Today I took a "Mental Health day" off from work, something i do on occasion because i can and its good to take a break every once in a while. It consisted in eating, sleeping, reading and futile experimentation with legacy file formats. You see, i'm trying to get most of my old newsletters up here for you my reading public, but they only exist in Geoworks file format. I played with scanners and Adobe Acrobat a lot of the day to try and translate either the hard copy or the old files to something that could be efficiently posted here without eating up all my file space, but to no avail in the time that was available to me. My next tack will be to export the text and the graphics from the old software separately, import them into my current favorite graphics software CorelDraw 8 and then export the files into the ever-popular HTML format. Hmmm... do i sound like a geek yet?

Anyway, keep your eyes peeled, it should only take me a week or so to figure this stuff out.
